JENN RAPP is the current associate director/choreographer for THE ILLUSIONISTS, playing its third record-breaking year on Broadway this holiday season 2018. Her choreography can be seen in the World Premiere musical, MARY AND MAX at Theatre Calgary. Her choreography has also been represented in the past two summer’s original musicals by Lucy Thurber for Williamstown Theatre Festival-Community Works.

As a Director/Choreographer, she currently has two original children’s musicals in the US and Australia: PJ MASKS LIVE! and DANIEL TIGER’S NEIGHBORHOOD LIVE!  Both will be touring again thru 2019.

As an associate director to Stafford Arima, she worked on the Lincoln Center one-night-only concert staging of RAGTIME starring Lea Salonga, Norm Lewis, and Patina Miller & THE SECRET GARDEN starring Ben Platt. She has worked on numerous Off-Broadway musicals, including BARE at New World Stages, FOUND at the Atlantic & CARRIE for MCC. At NYMF, she directed/choreographed PRISON DANCER & OUTLAWS.

Jenn has worked with choreographer John Carrafa for many years in musical theatre (THE MOST BEAUTIFUL ROOM at Long Wharf Theatre), television (THE KNICK, ROYAL PAINS), commercials, and on the original musical FINDING NEMO, still playing at Disney World’s Animal Kingdom.

Twice a year she boards a cruise ship to direct and choreograph the ongoing original NCL production of LE CIRQUE BIJOU—a mix of aerial circus choreography and dance.

She has extensive experience mounting national and international tours of popular cartoon TV characters, putting the likes of Dora The Explorer, Spongebob Squarepants, Thomas The Tank Engine, and Scooby-Doo into original musical theatre productions. She has traveled to numerous countries, working for companies such as Dreamworks, Nickelodeon, Disney Creative Entertainment, and Warner Brothers Entertainment and worked with casts in English, Spanish, Italian, Turkish, Japanese, Portuguese, Dutch, German, Korean, Cantonese, Mandarin, Hebrew, and French.
